Visit the Health Center!
Attention Cougars!
The Appalachian Mountain Community Health Centers is expanding to our school! Their new clinic has opened in room 504 in the CTE building.
They are open from 7:30 to 4:30 every day and have a full-time advanced practitioner provider, nurse, medical assistant, and a licensed social worker available.
They offer a variety of helpful services, such as primary care, behavioral health, and even basic dental care! They can give sports physicals, health screenings, vaccinations, dental x-rays, and referrals for dental care.
You can also receive counseling or address concerns regarding chronic medical conditions, as well as emotional and behavioral health issues.
The offered services are free with insurance. Any uninsured patients will have to pay a flat rate of only $5.
You can stop by at any time during the school day. To make an appointment all you have to do is make an E-hall pass, the health clinic will appear under the name Amy Mackey. If you want to make an appointment further in advance you can also make appointments through Gmail.
